This is the third sketchbook prompt I've worked on. The theme for this one was 'When I Grow Up' I let my daughter help me with the background on this one so it would be more playful.
A special thanks to Trish Bee and all the Art Venture members. Thanks so much for encouraging, prodding, and pushing those of us who have a little trouble leaving the comfort of our usual zones into new and ever more exciting artistic endeavors.
I have always lived in Ohio, although I hope someday to live on the Oregon coast. I love music and books and have always enjoyed seeing art. It wasn't until the last few years that I ever considered making any myself, and only in the last year would I have dared call it art. But finally I realized that if you make it, and put your heart and soul into it, that's just what it is. I feel fortunate to have many encouraging mentors and a family who puts up with looking at every thing I do.

Love this page. Looks like none of us want to grow up and we all need lots of playtime.
